Now don’t panic, it’s much easier than you think it is. All you need is flour, eggs, breadcrumbs, some chicken breasts, and salt & pepper to taste. Once you have all the ingredients assembled, you just need to cook and cut the chicken breast into nugget sized pieces, coat them with the flour, salt and pepper mixture, then dip them in eggs and finally toss them in breadcrumbs before frying them up. You could even prepare a batch and cook them in the oven for a healthier option. The best part about this is that you can pre-make a large batch, freeze it and take it out whenever the need arises.

Who doesn’t like sandwiches right? Well, sliders are just another variation of sandwiches that are smaller and easier to carry. Making sliders can once again be turned into a fun activity with the whole family where you can get your better half and your kids involved and the best thing about them is that they are fun – which gets the kids interested in eating them and healthy – so that they get the right kind of nutrition from them as well. All you have to do is think about what you want to put inside and more than half your job is done. Try experimenting with multi-grain buns, healthy yogurt dips, delicious vegetables, funky pickles and different meats while making your slider to keep things fresh. You could even pre-make the fillers and store them in individual Tupperware boxes so that you’re all prepared for whenever you need to make a few in the last minute. Easy to make and extremely versatile, a good PB&J makes the perfect snack whether it’s in school or for a picnic. Cake Pops

Every kid friendly treat kit needs to have something sweet in it, and in such a case, cake pops are exactly what you need. Super easy to make and delicious to eat, for the cake pops, you will need a cake (this can be store bought or you could bake one yourself) that you have to crumble into a bowl. To the cake rubble, you will need to add some sort of binding agent that will hold it together, like melted chocolate frosting or condensed milk. Once the mixture starts resembling a dough use your hands to make bite sized balls out of the mixture. After this step is complete put the cake pops on the cake pop stick after dipping the stick in some melted chocolate (once again, this can be white, milk or dark chocolate, as per your preference). Post mounting the pops on the stick all that’s left is for you to dip them into melted chocolate, cover them with toppings of your choice, leave them in the fridge and you’ve got yourself a dessert that no one can resist. You must be thinking, given the length of this paragraph, what a time consuming process making this must be, but trust us, once you get everything in place, it’s just a matter of minutes.
